In less than two weeks the relay baton will begin an extraordinary journey from LA to Boston. What adventures lie ahead? What incredible people will we greet? What stories we will have to tell!

A quick reminder that you’ll be able to track the baton LIVE on our website and chat with fellow runners at -http://www.onerunforboston.org/live/

P.S. In the coming weeks we’ll be asking you to help us name this year’s baton. Get your thinking hats on everyone!

14 States, 14 Dates.

Fancy a date with Danny and Kate? Raise $250 or more via your ORFB fundraising page for a chance to win The Red Short Experience! This will include:

1. Danny and Kate will meet you on your stage and then take you for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner afterwards
2. Pair of autographed red short shorts, as featured on Danny’s Red Shorts - https://www.facebook.com/DannysRedShortsOfficial
3. An awesome selection of ORFB swag!
4. Signed copy of ‘Not All Superheroes Wear Capes’
5. A tasteless souvenir from England

We have one Red Short Experience to give away per state. Recipients will be drawn at random in the week beginning 10 March. All ORFB runners who have raised $250 will qualify for the draw. Runners will get an extra name in the hat for each $250 they raise.

Good luck everyone! #FundraisingFriday

Say Hello to our 3 Boston Marathon runners!

We’re proud to introduce you all to our three One Run For Boston runners who will represent the group in this year’s Boston Marathon…

1.) Ilene Fabisch -http://www.onerunforboston.org/u/weruntogether/

2.) Steve Badour -http://www.onerunforboston.org/u/Goodcause/

3.) MJ Canotas -http://www.onerunforboston.org/u/miltapalooza/

It’s safe to say that these two guys and gal were all super excited when we broke the news to them!

A huge thank you to everyone for your continued fundraising efforts. It is amazing to see what this family of runners is achieving and our commiserations to those of you who missed out on a bib.

I’m running because…

"Are you kidding me? How could I not run? Give up the chance to run 20 miles in the middle of the night? Give up the chance to be part of an unbroken chain of runners stretching coast to coast in support of the the bombing victims, their families, and the world’s greatest marathon? Of course I’m going to run. Done deal. Please join me!"

What’s the best thing about helping organise One Run For Boston?

“You are never far away from discovering the most incredible and inspirational stories of the human spirit. Everyday we work towards making the relay a success and the workload can get intense but staying motivated is never a problem.
