I'm running because I've always looked up to the runners of the Boston marathon every year because they have the passion and perseverance to run the best marathon in the country through their strict training plans, fundraising and love for the sport. Although I was not personally impacted by the Boston marathon bombings, as a resident of the Boston area, an avid runner and a proud American, I was deeply saddened by last year's tragedy. Throughout the past year, I have tried to find as many opportunities as possible to support the victims and their families of the bombings. I am truly honored to show my support during the One Run for Boston and to run for those who lost so much last year.
