I'm running because Was appalled by happened at the Boston Marathon. As a PT Assistant, I have worked with people who have lost limbs. Here we have those who have lost multiple limbs, not to mention the psychological trauma inflicted upon them as well. I know that prosthetics are expensive and they need upgrading to more sophisticated models as the people become more adept at using them. Rehab will be long and costly. We cannot take away their pain, but we can help them on their journey and let them know that they are not alone!
