I'm running because I am a speech-language pathologist at Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Boston, MA. Two years ago I ran the 2012 Boston Marathon for Spaulding's Race for Rehab. I had the option to run the 2013 due to the heat, but decided after all the training that I would brave the heat and I finished! Boston is my home, I live at mile 23, and working for a Rehab hospital and an avid runner, last years awful trajedy really hit home.
