I'm running because As a BU student, it felt as if everyone around me was changed by BM'13. I was frustrated that there seemed to be so much wrong around me, but I didn't know how to make a difference. In the words of Jack Kerouac, "I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion." I've run a number of half marathons around the US and New Zealand - running is my way of freeing myself from stress and making my bad days better. With thousands of people running across the country for One Run For Boston, the Boston victims will know how much support they have, not just in their Boston Strong community, but all across the country. I hope that the thought of this run for them will help make some of their bad days better. Sign up to run with me IN BOSTON on APRIL 13 from HARVARD STADIUM TO THE ESPLANADE, or donate towards my run to help raise money for The One Fund Boston ... Even if I raise $0 (I hope I raise more! haha) I'm excited to race FOR something meaningful for my first time.
