I'm running because I am from Boston. My sister and brother in law run the Boston Marathon every year. Last year my brother in law was stopped at mile 22. It is important for me to support them and the people of Boston. I was in the hospital with my mother in Boston when the bombing happened. It cut me deeply both personally and (as a Army Veteran) the need to do something.
