I'm running because My daughter and I were in Boston in 2012 to support my husband as he crossed the finish line for the first time. We returned in 2013 to do it all again with a friend. We were waiting to connect, when just one block away, The unthinkable happened.
I ran leg #319 of the OneRun for Boston last year to run strong together, for the victims, for me. Watching and waiting for Miles, the baton, to make his way across the United States, to follow his adventures, and then become part of it all, was very comforting and healing. I will be in Boston in April to cheer for my running community, and I am excited to be part of the OneRun adventure again this year!
