I'm running because I volunteered at Boston last year at a water stop. It was the most awesome day. Runners were so thankful to me for volunteering. Met some of the nicest people just working a water stop. Then the bombing happened and all I could wonder was if anyone was injured that I had given water too or had a short conversation with during the race. I guess I just want to experience Boston again. Like I knew Boston before the bombing. It will never be the same but running in the One Run for Boston will let me do my part in not letting them win and taking Boston back. I have never seen so much support as I have in the year following the bombing. Just want to my part in helping with the healing.
